Steps to Share Your ETA
Need to let a friend or family member know you’re on your way (OMW)? You can share your ETA when you’re driving. Here’s how:
- Use Maps to select your route
- Tap Share ETA
- Tap a Contact
That’s it. That’s how easy it is. You can also (and should, for safety) do this with Siri by activating Siri and tell her to share your ETA.

Or course, sharing your ETA live gives whoever you share your ETA with location tracking as you progress toward your destination.
